   Lincoln High School opened on Tuesday, September 5, 1978, to accommodate ninth through twelfth grade students from the Shinnston and Lumberport sections of Harrison County, West Virginia. It consolidated two schools, Shinnston High School and Lumberport High School. Lincoln High School derived its name from the first public school located in Harrison County in the vicinity of the nearby community of Gypsy. Site preparation began in the spring of 1975. Groundbreaking ceremonies for thebuilding were held September 9, 1976. Cornerstone laying was June 4, 1977. A new additon was completed for 1994-1995.

Monday: Birthday meal: hotdog, oven fries, cole slaw, baked beans, birthday cake & frozen yogurt

Tuesday: Oven baked chicken, broccoli/rice/cheese casserole, WG roll, mixed fruit

Wednesday: Hamburger on WG bun, let/tom/sweet potato waffle fries, Mexicali corn, applesauce

Thursday: Stuffed shells/marinara, tossed salad, stir fry veggies, garlic bread, fruit cocktail

Friday: Breakfast for lunch: scrambled eggs, sausage, yellow&red grape tomatoes, hash browns croissant

The Lincoln High and Middle School Based Health Center is now offering flu vaccines.  If you would like for your child to receive a flu shot you may complete the “Say Boo to the Flu” interest letter and screening questionnaire.  You may also call our clinic to schedule a flu vaccine for your child.  To schedule a flu vaccine or if you have any questions please call our clinic at 304-592-5082.
