Welcome to Ms.Akers' Class!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

     Hello, My name is Johnna Akers. I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself . I grew up in Shinnston and attended Lincoln High School. Yes, I am a proud Lincoln Cougar. While there I was cheerleading captain and served as student body president.

     I earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Fairmont State University, cheered at the college for the fighting falcons, and was a student ambassador. I am currently working on a Master’s in Reading.

     This is my first full year of teaching, and I am above and beyond excited. However, this is not my first time at LES. I student taught in Mrs.Barton’s third grade and Mrs.Gentillozi’s Kindergarten.

I am so excited to work with you and your child this year!
