Welcome to Ms. Moore's Preschool Homepage
Professional: I thoroughly enjoy teaching early childhood education. My students are a joy to have and I am amazed at their abilities from year to year. I have been teaching at Lumberport Elementary since 2001.
Educational: I graduated from Fairmont State University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. Later, I earned a Masters Degree in Communication from West Virginia University. Preschool is great for developing proper social skills. Although I consider myself blessed as an experienced professional, I credit my students with constantly enhancing my desire to become a lifelong learner. Our preschool curriculum concentrates on developing the student's social, emotional, cognitive, literacy, language, mathematics and physical areas of development.
Personal/Hobbies: I live in Shinnston and have three children, who constantly challenge me to be a better parent. I also enjoy my six grandchildren, reading, movies, and cooking.
