WELCOME TO MRS. DEMARCO'S PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS!!!


                                                     

Hello!

     My name is Kathy DeMarco and have taught Physical Education for the last 24 years at Lumberport Elementary.  Before teaching P.E., I also taught 5th Grade and a part-time gifted class, both at this school.

      I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Fairmont State Univerity in 1983.   I also hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education from West Virginia University, which I received in 2000.


Personal Information:

     I am married to Frank A. DeMarco, Harrison County Magistrate, and we have two children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Our daughter Tara is a graduate of Fairmont State and is employed by United Hospital Center as a Lab Technician.  She has three children, Emma, who graduated from Lincoln High School, attended Alderson Broaddus University; Sammie, who will be a Freshman at Lincoln High School; and Gabriel Mark, who is in Kindergarten at Big Elm.

     Our son, Ryan A. DeMarco, graduated from West Virginia University majoring in Criminology Investigations and works at the DeMarco Family Store. He also referees Jerry West Basketball and umpires high school as well as Babe Ruth baseball. 

    Our great-granddaughter, Piper, is one year old and is our joy!

Walking and Riding Bikes with Friends

Swimming in our pool or soaking in the hot tub

Playing the piano for First Christian Church in Mannington

Attending Mass at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Shinnston.

Attending CR in Shinnston on Thursdays

Attending and judging Marble Tournaments
