A Note From Mrs. Dolan
Student of the Month: Atlanta & Laykin
Star Student: Brandon
Mystery Readers: if you would like to be a Mystery Reader in our class, please send in the form.
Our planning schedule is as follows for this 9 weeks:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Gym
Tuesday and Thursday: Library
sure your child is wearing tennis shoes on Gym
days. We will be going to the playground across the street and the NV park throughout the week
please make sure your child has on clothing and shoes they can play in.
Students may bring in a water bottle for them to have at their desk throughout the day.
Do not forget to download the Class DoJo App and SeeSaw App. These are great resources to help us communicate so your child has a wonderful 1st grade experience. If you cannot download these apps please feel free to call me at the school or write a note in your child’s agenda.
LiveGrades information was sent out last week, if you did not get it in your child's folder please let me know so I can send home another copy.
Lunch is free to all NVE students! Extra milk is 25 cents and popcorn on Friday’s are 25 cents. We will have snack each day.
I have a lot of students that are arriving to school late, remember school starts at 8 am. If your child is not here in the morning they are missing writing which is a very important part of their curriculum. This will lower their grade because they are not getting their work done. I have also started sending home work that they are missing instead of letting them make-up work throughout the day.
Please contact me if you need anything!
