Biology is the study of life and living organisms, form the smallest bacteria to giant sequoias. It is a graduation requirement. 

Forensic science is the application of science to criminal and civil laws that are enforced by police agencies and the criminal justice system. This course will provide an overview of the crime scene investigation process and the methodology. Concepts, such as identification, documentation, and collection of physical evidence, including fingerprints, shoe impressions, hair and fibers, etc., will be reinforced through hands-on labs and computer simulation activites. This course is designed to provide a basic foundation in the field of forensic identification to students who are interested in the use of science to solve crime.


Human Anatomy & Physiology is an advanced science class satisfying a lab science graduation credit and is suggested for students interested in careers in the health science cluster. Due to the rigorous nature of the course a 'B' average in pre-requiste science courses is highly recommended. The following is a tentative schedule of concepts to be covered
