 We, the staff of Big Elm Elementary School, believe that all children can learn. It is the mission of everyone to provide a secure environment which nurtures individual growth and encourages constructive risk-taking. In cooperation with the parents and community, the staff will challenge the students to reach their full potential and become lifelong learners.

You have the right to request the qualifications of the teachers at Big Elm.

You have the right to request parent trainings.

You have the right to know the results of assessments given to your child.

You have the right to request  further testing if your child is not achieving as you think they should.

You have a right to request a conference with your child’s teacher.

You have the right to be fully involved in any educational decisions for your child.
