We are working on reading accuarately and with expression. And focusing on retelling stories including important details. Retelling what happened and putting events in order (beginning, middle, and end) of the story. It is important that your student understands what they are reading.
Sight words are words that are difficult to sound out and must be recognized quickly. These words occur very often in text. Your student should be familiar with reading and writing these words. As knowing these words will help them read accurately. It is important that you keep reviewing the sight words already mastered. I can provide you with copies of the sight word lists.
We will work on addition and subtraction within ten and our goal is within twenty. We will compare numbers, investigate data with graphs, and work with shapes.
