Full-time attendance and instruction begins Monday, March 1st.
We will no longer be using the Schoology platform for assignments. All grades will be entered directly into LiveGrades. If you need instructions on how to access LiveGrades for your child, please let me know.
Students will be required to finish 45 minutes of iReady reading AND math lessons each week. This is an increase from the 30 minutes they've been doing. Participation points are still being taken for iReady lessons.
Spelling tests will be taken in the classroom with me. The reading test will still be conducted online through ThinkCentral.
**Please be sure to send a water bottle or bottle of water with your child. We try to access outside play areas when the weather is nice.
**Our gym day is Thursday. Please be sure your child is in appropriate clothing and shoes for this day.

PLEASE JOIN THE JOHNSON ELEMENTARY PTA!

Our school's PTA does SO MUCH for our students and staff. They helped purchase the red picnic tables at the front of the school recently. They really do try their best to give to and help out our students with whatever is needed. The volunteers with the PTA are amazing to work with, so please consider becoming a parent member. It's the teamwork of the parents and the teachers (and administrators and civilian staff members) that make JES such a wonderful school environment.
