South Harrison Middle School Seventh Grade Team.
Welcome to Mrs. Shuttleworth's
Seventh Grade Science Page
My name is Kellee Shuttleworth. I live in Lost Creek with my husband Joe, my two sons Jake and Matthew, and our three dogs (Gracie, Sydney, and Crosby). I started teaching 7th grade Science at South Harrison Middle School in 2015, but I have taught in Harrison County since 1994. I feel very blessed and fortunate to teach in my home community. I believe that our kids deserve a high quality science education, and I strive every day to provide that for them. I also believe that education is a partnership between the school and the family. I look forward to working with you and your student this year. My door is always open, and I welcome communication and feedback.
Students, bring your ISN to class with you every day.
We are learning about Cell Theory, types of cells, and organelles. The students will also be learning about sensory receptors and the brain. We will be dissecting sheep eyeballs.
HOMEWORK: In class we are working on an organelle poster project. It is due on Tuesday, February 13. If there are snow days, or a student is absent, they are responsible for working on the project at home. Thank you for your support of our classroom.
CONGRATULATIONS 212 DEGREE STUDENTS!!! These students were selected for always working hard and giving extra effort. I am extremely proud ot them all! Keep up the good work
