Students who attend UTC can begin on their career pathway while in high school or further their training as adults. Current statistics show that only 15% of jobs nationwide require a college degree. Instead, the jobs/careers of today, require certifications and licensing. UTC can prepare students for the workforce without incurring a huge college debt.
United Technical Center serves students from Doddridge, Harrison and Taylor Counties. The student population at United Technical Center is made-up of students from Bridgeport High School, Doddridge County High School, Grafton High School, Liberty High School, Lincoln High School, Notre Dame High School, Robert C. Byrd High School, South Harrison High School and United High School. Also, homeschoolers and adults attend UTC.

Computer Repair Systems Technology
Cosmetology (An Adult Program that accepts high school juniors)
Health Occupations – Therapeutic Services (Available to juniors, seniors or adults)
Law and Public Safety
Machine Tool Technology
Medical Assisting – Allied Health (Available to juniors, seniors or adults)
Power Sports & Equipment
Practical Nursing – (Adults Only)

Applications are available at all high schools in the counties that we serve and at United Technical Center.
