Mrs. Boyles graduated from Robert C. Byrd High School in 2003.  She graduated with honors from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2007 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English literature and secondary English education.  Again, Mrs. Boyles graduated with honors from WVWC in 2008 with a Master's in Education.  She went on to receive certifications in reading specialist and Autism.  Mrs. Boyles lives in Bridgeport with her husband and son.

  • Genres and Subgenres PowerPoint and Quiz
  • The Giver:  Comprehension Questions, Societal Rules, Careers and Career Assignments, Context Clues, AR Points, etc.

  • MLA Internal Citations and Works Cited

  • Assignments are graded on a points-based system. 
  • Letter grades are assigned according to Harrison County Grading Scale. 
  • Example:  100-93 A

Academic Dishonesty

  • Academic Dishonesty will not be tolerated and will result in a signature on their signature card and a team meeting.

Extra Credit

  • In order to complete extra credit assignments, all regular credit assignments must be turned in.
