We have become aware of a prank call to the police about an active shooter at Robert C. Byrd High School. Law enforcement agencies have cleared the building and have determined it to be a non-credible threat. At no time was the health and safety of the students and staff compromised.

This week we celebrate National School Psychology Week. “Together We Shine” is this year’s theme as a way of hope after the last few challenging years through the pandemic, social injustice, economic strains, and mental/physical health. Join us for free backpacks, school supplies, and connecting with local community organizations. Registration is not required. Drop by anytime on August 5 between 4:30pm and 8:00pm. Backpacks & school supplies will be provided by Kiwanis Club and ATM. For ages 4-18.
