BMS Bulletin

This year, we kicked off BMS students' academics with GSA scores rising by five percent, exceeding our goal of three percent, and getting a reward with our new 7th and 8th graders with a trip to the city park. Staff helped supervise this fun reward, and we want to thank our principals for setting up such a fun evening. We also want to thank our students who helped our school rise in the academic ranks and for working so hard on the GSA. This past October, we had a fun academic rewards bingo that rewarded lucky winners with exciting prizes. Every student with a 3.0 or higher was allowed to enjoy a fun end-of-the-day reward to sit and talk to friends while playing bingo. Our new 6th graders who got a 3.0 or higher also got to experience this fun reward for the first time, and we hope everyone keeps their GPAs or raises them higher for more fun bingo rewards.

We want to congratulate participants, including 6th-grade Jackson Fridley, Lilly Dahl, Tyler Lean, Cooper Foster, Sylvie Abraham, and alternative Brooke White. From 7th grade, Ian Losh, Douglas Mizell, Ben Hickman, Brynn Sickles, Eliza Cooper, and the alternatives Aiden Nguyen and Ava Watchford. From 8th grade, Jazlyn Myers, Lilli Owens, Parker Scott, Lill Southern, Sophia Reed, and alternates Lucy Mitchell and Leah Bice all qualified for the spelling bee. We congratulate you on qualifying and wish our Braves the best of luck in December during your competition, and hope you bring home blue!
