Public Notice: 21st CCLC Grant Application

Harrison County Schools intends to submit a Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant application to the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE).

If funded, this grant will support after-school programming at Liberty Middle School for a period of five years.

In accordance with federal requirements (Section 4204(b)(2)(L)), the completed application and any waiver request will be available for public review following submission.

21st Century Community Learning Center Program: Soaring Beyond Expectations

Harrison County is competing for the 21st CCLC Afterschool Grant to provide funding for afterschool programming at Liberty Middle School for the next five years. After-school programs help improve student achievement and prevent risky behaviors. Parent/guardian input is very important to the grant application process. Davisson Run Rd on the Sun Valley side is shut down due to an accident. All cars should come from the Clarksburg side of Davisson Run to pick up any children. Busses will be late as well since they will be re routed through downtown Clarksburg.

GameChangers Meeting at Liberty Middle School
