LSIC Meeting notes

September 1, 2026

Mr. Haynes welcomed the attendees to the meeting. Members present include Jason Haynes, Heather Jack, Hannah David, Heather Clifton, Deputy DJ Navarini, Ashley Wilson, Cheryl Alton, Hillary Wright.

Heather Jack was nominated and elected president.

Ashley Wilson was nominated as VP and elected.

Heather Clifton was nominated as Secretary and elected.

Cheryl Alton, Hillary Wright, and Gia Nelson were nominated as parent members. All accepted.

Parent concern request to check on funding/grants for new playground equipment.

Discussed “sponsorship” for signs to be placed on fence above parking lot/bus loop to help offset cost of playground

Policy 2322 video would not play on laptop present in meeting. Will show training video at next LSIC meeting.
