Mr. Dawson Evans comes to us from West Taylor Elementary School in Taylor County. Mr. Evans describes himself as a passionate educator who emphasizes hard work, positive relationships, and continued growth.
"I'm excited to be a part of the Fort Family and to make meaningful connections with the staff and students," said Evans.
Mr. Evans completed his undergrad at Fairmont State in Elementary Education and his master's in educational leadership at Salem University.
Mr. Evans chose to become an assistant principal because he wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the students, staff, and the community.
"I want to be a champion for those around me, someone who supports, encourages, and helps others reach their full potential," he said.

Mr. Evans loves to travel, especially to Walt Disney World. This summer, he spent a week in Alaska and 2 weeks in Florida!
