This week’s Staff Spotlight is Mrs. Connie Moore, Pre-K Aide! Mrs. Connie loves being able to work with children every day and watch them learn and grow. She enjoys being part of a school where everyone has the opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives. Her favorite parts of working with our students are seeing their smiles, receiving their hugs, and, of course, hearing all the funny things they have to say!
Mrs. Connie wants every child who enters her classroom to know that they are loved, cared about, and special. She wants her students to feel safe and happy and to know that they can always be themselves. When asked to describe Nutter Fort Primary in one word, Mrs. Connie chose family. She loves that our school works together to help our children learn and succeed and that our staff members are there for one another in times of need. For Mrs. Connie, it feels good to be part of a school where everyone works together for kids.
Mrs. Connie holds associate degrees in Business and Ministry, but she says her biggest accomplishment is having the opportunity to work with young children and be part of their learning journey. Helping them grow and succeed means a great deal to her. Outside of school, Mrs. Connie loves going on trips with her family, especially her boys, who are now older. She says family means a lot to her and that Nutter Fort is part of her family, too. We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Connie as part of our Fort Family!
