*This is a grade count- not a head count*

Typical numbers for this time of year. Really need to do a better job monitoring through homerooms. Tomorrow is midterm of this 6 weeks. Homerooms need to have conversations with students. Need to do Hawks meeting with juniors and seniors to ensure class completion.

There is only 1 major concern from the senior class regarding graduation.

Mrs. Michael has been monitoring this daily. Mr. Keener has reached out to the student and family numerous times.

We will continue to monitor to ensure we get as many seniors as possible across the finish line as possible.

As far as disciplinary measures- will continue to follow county policy when students referred to office. Dictated by policy and behavioral habits of our students. Represents 95% of our students come here daily and do what they do- and when they don’t- we hold them accountable.

Open Forum for Questions/Answers

From Jennifer Paugh- I’m not sure if I will make it this evening, so I just wanted to send a note to thank everyone for their support of our students last night at the BOE meeting. I think you left it all on table and gave the board some important information to consider.

I’ll be encouraging parents to continue to express concerns directly to board members. If we don’t fight for our kids, no one else will. I appreciate you!

Next year, we will have an application/ form to increase the number of participation in LSIC. Mr. Keener looks forward to growing LSIC and continued support of the school.

Schedule Next Meeting

Next meeting will be in August when we return to school.
