Today's Notes:

  • Harrison County Schools is currently under a mask mandate -- all individuals are required to wear a mask while indoors on school property.  Homeroom teachers are encouraged to take students outside during the homeroom period after lunch for a mask break, weather permitting.
  • During second breakfast, students need to move the line to where it is at lunch rather than directly behind the serving line -- we are moving too slowly and need to cut down on the congestion.
  • At this time, we can leave the seating charts at lunch behind and students may sit in different seats.  However, once you choose a seat you should remain there for the lunch period.  Also remember that you should be wearing a mask at any time that you are not seated at the table actively eating your lunch.
  • Drama Club meeting on Wednesday Nov. 10 during second lunch in Room 210.
  • Seniors -- turn in your baby pictures to the yearbook staff for inclusion in the 2022 Talon.  Deadline is December 15.
  • National Honor Society is having a coloring book drive for needy children -- bring those coloring books in.  The grade level with the most donations will get an early dismissal from school!   Deadline is November 16.

F.Y.I.:

  • Seniors please do not forget to be checking the counselor's page on our website for scholarship updates as well as the bins by the counseling office.
  • Remember that our dress code policy contains a fingertip rule that applies to length of shorts, skirts, and placement of holes in jeans.  The dress code also states that hats and caps are not to be worn in the building -- please remove them when you enter and keep them off until you leave.
  • Students having technology/iPad issues need to report the issue on the clipboard hanging outside of Room 105.  If your problem is not listed on that page, it may not be addressed.
