  1. iReady PD Benchmarking Dates rescheduled – due to snow days – Jan. 13-24

 

  1. iReady PD Scheduled for the 21st – during planning for teachers in STEAM room

 

  1. MOY 3rd Grade Success Act Deficiency to be coming – list from county and letter to

                 send home if not meeting reading and math standards.  Students can be retained.

 

  1. WVGSA Training to be scheduled soon for building administrators – Jan. 22

  1. School Culture Success and Innovative Programs

 

  1. 100th Day of School Celebrations – February 11, 2025 – teachers will complete

                 activities in classroom, banners and decorations will be ordered

 

  1. Groundhog Day – Monday, February 3, 2025 – Students will make predictions, by

    Friday, January 31, outside the cafeteria

 

  1. Dr. Seuss Read Across America Week and Spirit Week – March 3-7

                        Monday – Green Eggs and Ham  – wear green

                        Tuesday – Cat in the Hat  – hat day

                        Wednesday – Wacky Wednesday – wear clothes backwards or mismatched

                        Thursday – Thing 1 and Thing 2 -  dress up and match with your friends

                        Friday – Oh the Places You Will Go – dress up as a job you’d like to have in the

                                       Future

 

  1. St. Patrick’s Day – Monday, March 17 – we will do a pot of gold with things we are

                 lucky for (like our Thanksgiving turkey)

 

  1. Earth Day – Tuesday, April 22 –

  2. Water Bottle Recycling – containers for each floor to recycle bottles

  3. Adopt a Pot – each room will adopt a flower pot outside to plant seeds in and

                            will have a sign, identifying the class
