January 12, 2026 during 3rd 9 Weeks – will discuss 100th Day of School, Groundhog Day, Dr. Seuss Week, Earth Day, and St. Patrick’s Day

LSIC School Wide Positive School Culture, Improvement, Academics, Safety, and Discipline
Monthly Staff Meal or Snack Planning – treats for November and December and Dessert Day on PL Day in January
School wide Positive Activities and Parent Volunteer Group and Local Partnerships
Kiwanis Club Monthly Reading for Kindergarten – Marla Ferree
WVU Game – November 20 – 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades
Spirit Week December – Miranda and Megan will create a schedule
Popcorn Update – doing well with volunteers
Lions Club Vision Screening – held in October, great support for kids
Use of Facilities – Jerry West using gym on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Eric Farris wants to purchase a new scoreboard.
Playground – using school funds to buy a mat for the merry-go-round
Sacred Heart Foundation – ordering winter coats and supplies
Keep the Ball Rolling – statewide regional meeting; schools given $1500 for clothing, etc.

3rd Grade Success Act – starting Year 26-27, 3rd graders may be retained if they don’t perform well on end-of-year test
Greenhouse and Outside Planters
Brandy will send an email about who needs dirt
Spring – adopt-a-pot again; pots need cleaned out
Special Ed needs a pallet and a bale of hay
