We have become aware of a prank call to the police about an active shooter at Robert C. Byrd High School. Law enforcement agencies have cleared the building and have determined it to be a non-credible threat. At no time was the health and safety of the students and staff compromised.

🚨 REMINDER 🚨
Due to Election Day, there is no school on Tuesday, November 8th.
This week we celebrate National School Psychology Week. “Together We Shine” is this year’s theme as a way of hope after the last few challenging years through the pandemic, social injustice, economic strains, and mental/physical health. This week and every week, our team of school psychologists will work to promote positive change in all areas of leadership in the counseling room, the classroom, the community, and beyond.
Thank you to Lori Bailey, Victoria Barnosky, Jennifer Downward, Rachel James, Emily McCauley, Benjamin Neff, and Kristen Thompson!
Victory Elementary’s school counselor, Mr. Rieser, visited Mrs. Marozzi’s preschool class today. He read the book about caring for others and talked about how to be a good friend.
