↘️A Message from Healthy Grandfamilies ↙️
Ladies and Gentlemen,
After much checking around and discussion, we have decided to postpone the live Healthy Grandfamily Sessions until March.
Grandfamilies are helping their grandchildren adjust to being back in school, some are concerned about gathering due to the upswing in COVID cases and some have some other conflicts at this time.
We will continue to meet the information and training needs of the Grandfamilies by phone calls, face to face socially distanced home visits and the Grandparents as Parents Support Group.
In January, we will start recruiting and planning for our Sessions to begin in March.
WES FAMILIES SUMMER ENRICHMENT PACKETS
Last May, we sent home a Summer Enrichment Packet with students if he or she was in grades K-4 at Wilsonburg. If your student would like to turn in the completed journals from this pack, he or she will receive $100 in Cougar Cash!
Please return the journals to Title I by September 10th to receive the reward. Just send it in to your classroom teacher and we will make sure you get your Cougar Cash.
