We have become aware of a prank call to the police about an active shooter at Robert C. Byrd High School. Law enforcement agencies have cleared the building and have determined it to be a non-credible threat. At no time was the health and safety of the students and staff compromised.

Check out the College and Career Fair this Thursday at Liberty HS gym from 6 to 8 p.m. to learn about the colleges, schools, jobs, and careers that are out there and available to you! There will be a drawing for a Cash Scholarship and Prizes to be awarded to students who attend, that's this coming Thursday from 6 to 8 at Liberty HS gym. This week we celebrate National School Psychology Week. “Together We Shine” is this year’s theme as a way of hope after the last few challenging years through the pandemic, social injustice, economic strains, and mental/physical health.
