First things first, we get ready for the day! Making sure not to forget our cheer shoes before we rush out the door. We always make sure to get to school on time because if not we can't practice. Which usually isn't an issue for the three of us! The three of us being Hadley Lucky, Harper Moore, and Ava Davis. We all participate in the BMS cheerleading team, which is a big commitment due to its demanding schedule. As soon as we get to school we make sure to put our cheer bags in the bag room and lunches on the rack.
Next, we head to bus room where, lucky for us since we're in eighth grade, we get to sit by our friends! After that we head to our first period Math for Hadley, English for Harper, and Science for Ava. The next time we meet up is at 12:30 for lunch! This is where we catch up with our friends and talk about our day so far. Then we all head to our favorite class of the day which is Yearbook. Where we work very diligently on this blog you are reading and the yearbook. At the end of the period we all three say bye to Mrs. Butler. We all head to our lockers in the 8th grade pod to collect our things to go to our 7th period, which is a related arts class. Guitar class for Hadley, Stem for Harper, and Gym for Ava.
When 2nd bell rings we head to our favorite part of the day, cheer practice! After we get changed we roll out the mats which is quite the job! Next we work hard on our competition routine, unless we have a game coming up we work on game stuff. Usually our practices range from 2 to 3 hours. After practice we go home and do our homework. Then we eat dinner and getting ready for bed. This consists of getting a shower, doing skincare, and laying out an outfit for the following day. That is a day in the life of a BMS cheerleader.
