Band Students Selected to WV Wesleyan Honor Band
BMS is proud to have 3 students selected to participate in the North Central WV Honor Band to be held at WV Wesleyan College November 6–8. These students will rehearse with other middle school musicians from around the area and present a concert on Saturday, November 8.

8th Grade Night
Members of the 8th grade band had the opportunity to play along with the “Pride of the Tribe” on Friday, October 3. The BMS students participated in the pre-game show and also had front row seats to the “How to Train Your Dragon” field performance.
Steel Drums and Drumline
On Monday, October 6, the BMS Steel Drums and Drumline performed at Philip-Barbour High School for their annual Drum Showcase. Groups from four middle schools and five high schools performed at the event.
Fall Concert Recap – Friday, October 17
Our fall concert on October 17 was a wonderful celebration of music and talent! Students delivered an impressive performance featuring a variety of seasonal and classical selections that delighted the audience. The evening was filled with energy, creativity, and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our young musicians—it was truly a night to remember!

The BMS band proudly performed at two home football games this fall. Students played spirited music to cheer on the team and entertain the crowd. Their energy and school spirit helped make each game more exciting. Great job to all our band members for representing BMS so well!
Holiday Concert
The band program will present our annual Holiday Concert on Friday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the BMS Gymnasium.
Bridgeport Christmas Parade
The 7th and 8th grade bands will perform on December 6 in the Bridgeport Christmas Parade. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
