Principal’s Report:
-WVGSA is complete, and only a few makeups left.
-Mantrap is supposed to be completed during the summer, but we have not received a hard date.
-3rd 9 weeks rewards happening the last week of school – students are excited to go.
-Both track teams recently claimed conference championships and very successful season – numerous school records were broken this year.
-Newly hired coaches for volleyball and football (Wolfe and Ritter)
-Teacher appreciation week was amazing! Teachers are extremely thankful for all parents who donated their time and money to support them. A huge thank you to all parents and boosters!
-Enrollment/transfers: anticipation of high numbers of transfers into BMS, especially in the 6th grade – may be a slight change with special education services and what that will look like for next school year. We are still not sure of the SE schedules and how that unfolds from the county office down to us.
-PBIS reward: implemented 2nd semester by Mrs. Harrison. When teachers see a student demonstrating positive or good behavior, they put the student name on a ticket and place it into a container. Those tickets will then be drawn each week for one winner from each grade. A variety of prizes are offered for the winning students.
