 "Miss Alexa"

School Counselor-Lumberport Elementary

About Me

Hi! My name is Miss Alexa, and I have had the great privilege of being the school counselor at LES since 2009. I have worked in the counseling profession with children and their families since 1996.

I absolutely LOVE to be a part of the great faculty of Lumberport Elementary School.  The students maintain the highest personal and academic standards and the community of Lumberport is the warmest and supportive that I have seen!

I facilitate small groups, as well as provide classroom guidance activities for each grade which concentrate on topics such as character education, bullying, grief, anger management, student diversity, and of course, one-on-one counseling will always be available.

I am LES' SAT (Student Assistance Team) Coordinator, as well as the 504 Coordinator, should your child be in need of any modifications within the classroom.

I am also available to meet with parents individually or by phone to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your child.  Your child's academic, personal and social successes are of utmost importance to me.

LES is truly a family atmosphere and I am blessed to be a part of your child's academic growth!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to use the form below to email me!  I promise to be helpful in any way that I can!
