It was officially announced today that all 11 of the Liberty FFA Degree candidates have passed review and will receive their American FFA Degree in October. This is the highest degree a member can earn and these students have all worked very hard to achieve it! This is the most American FFA Degrees earned in a single year by any chapter in WV FFA History!!!!

📣 ACT Math Prep Class 📣
John Ebert will be hosting an ACT Math Prep Class on Wednesday, September 8th, in the BMS LGI, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mr. Ebert will contact students via email if the class is moved to an online format due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Students must register at http://www.johnebertmathactprep.com prior to attending this free course.

The ACT will be given on September 11, 2021. Please check test location availability as it is subject to change based on COVID-19 restrictions. The registration deadline is August 6th, with late fees accepted until August 20th. Students will need to register for the ACT at http://www.actstudent.org/regist/dates.html.

Note: Registrations need to be approved by the high school principal/counselor prior to application, but are to be completed by the student with the college directly.
Not all college classes are considered Dual Credit.

📣Dual Credit students, that have been approved by their high school, need to be aware of the start dates for their college classes, as most of them begin prior to the start of classes for Harrison County Schools.
Please see the attachment for information regarding the specific start dates for Pierpont Community & Technical College, Glenville State College, WVU, and Fairmont State University.
Fall Sports begin Monday August 2 with the exception of Volleyball that starts August 9. Below are the times for practices for August 2. Coaches will provide full schedules at the first practice.
Football - 9:00 am - 11:00 am and 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm;
Girls Soccer - 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm - in front of the school;
Boys Soccer - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm;
Cross Country - 9:00 am - 11:00 am;
Cheer - 9:00 - noon; and
Golf - Meet at Liberty at 1:00 pm
