Please send a note and/or a doctor's excuse upon your child’s return from an absence. A note must be provided in order for the excuse to be documented on your child’s attendance. You only have 3 days to complete this once your child returns to school.
Students are tardy after 7:35 am and must be signed in at the front door. The office staff will walk tardy students to class to limit classroom interruptions.
Five notes can be written by parents per semester for illness.
When your child has over 10 unexcused absences, they are considered truant by law.
There is an option to turn in Absence Notes for attendance electronically. You'll find the link at the top of the harcoboe.net website, the MES website, and at the top of each newsletter.
