Yearly, our team works collaboratively with stakeholders to revisit, monitor, and revise the strategic plan for MES. Below are the goals of our strategic plan for the 26-27 school year
Mountaineer Elementary School will reach its identified 2036 Annual ELA Target of 41.33% for 2026 or increase by 5% from 33% to 38% for the 2026-2027 school year, as measured by the West Virginia Balanced Scorecard. For ELA, the students with disabilities subgroup will reach their annual target of 25.93% proficiency for 2027, or increase 3.09% from 22.84% in 25-26 to 25.93% for the 26-27 school year, as measured by the WV Balanced Scorecard.
Mountaineer Elementary School will reach its identified 2036 Annual Math Target of 32.19% for 2027, an increase of 5% for the 2026-2027 school year, as measured by the West Virginia Balanced Scorecard. MES met the target for the 2025 school year (35%) and plans to increase by 5%. For Math, the students with disabilities subgroup will reach their annual target of 22.96% proficiency for 2027, or increase 3.21% from 19.75% in 25-26 to 22.96% for the 26-27 school year, as measured by the WV Balanced Scorecard.
"During the 26-27 school year, 90% of MES students will be present for 90% of the school year as measured by WV Zoom data." "During the 26-27 school year, 80% of MES students will earn a B or higher in conduct as measured by their conduct grades on Class DOJO."
