Yesterday was Test-it Tuesday at North View Elementary!
What is Test-it Tuesday?!
Each Tuesday, we will announce TWO math vocabulary words on the intercom for ALL TO HEAR! 😃
Students are challenged to USE and APPLY these words all week!
Teachers are encouraging students each week by showcasing these words using www.mathisfun.com. 💕
If they can use their math vocabulary in class and apply it with math reasoning, they will get a TEST TICKET! 😱
Students can get an UNLIMITED amount of tickets. This will increase their chances of winning! Each month, we will draw for some BIG prizes!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?!
Families are encouraged to continue the conversation of learning at home!
Check out the website: www.mathisfun.com for a QUICK reference and example of ALL math vocabulary! You can do this on a desktop, tablet, or phone! It takes just 2 minutes!
They have games, videos, definitions, practice questions, AND it can be sorted by grade! HOW COOL?! Math references made EASY!
This week, we are encouraging students to apply and use the words SUM and DIFFERENCE!

We have become aware of a prank call to the police about an active shooter at Robert C. Byrd High School. Law enforcement agencies have cleared the building and have determined it to be a non-credible threat. At no time was the health and safety of the students and staff compromised.

The Robert C. Byrd High School Soaring Eagles are hosting a Winter Wonder Bash for all Harrison County students grades 2 through 4!

This week and every week, our team of school psychologists will work to promote positive change in all areas of leadership in the counseling room, the classroom, the community, and beyond.
