Harrison County Schools will operate on a 3-hour early dismissal on Monday, June 5, 2023.

We have become aware of a prank call to the police about an active shooter at Robert C. Byrd High School. Law enforcement agencies have cleared the building and have determined it to be a non-credible threat. At no time was the health and safety of the students and staff compromised.
