Principal Satterfield, acting as interim chair, called the meeting to order.

Old Business

Fall Festival was a success. Plans are underway for “Spring Fling” (May 1, 2026) by the PBIS Committee.

Jingle Surprise sweatshirt giveaway was well received by UHS students. Leftover sweatshirts will be added to next year’s Jingle Surprise gift list.

New Business

Spring Testing Schedule

  • 04/14/26 – SAT for 11th graders (make-up date available)

  • 04/15/26 – PSAT 9 for 9th graders (no make-up date)

  • 04/16/26 – PSAT 10 for 10th graders (no make-up date)

WVGSA testing for middle school students will take place from 04/27/26 through 05/15/26.

Testing will take two days. LA/Writing and LA/Reading will be on day one. Math and Science will be on day two.

Testing Guidelines Training was offered to staff on 02/03/26. Additional training through College Board will follow.

Strategic Plan Updates

UHS Core Beliefs and Mission Statement are complete. Needs Assessment information is being compiled. A work order was submitted to repair a “working shower” in the building. More updates will be shared once missed meetings are rescheduled due to weather closures.

Graduation

Diplomas have been ordered for the UHS Graduation Ceremony on 05/26/26 at Liberty Middle School. The Graduation Committee will meet later this month to plan the “Phoenix Farewell” for eligible seniors.

PBIS

The PBIS Committee has several activities planned for second semester. Eligible students received a cookie reward this week.

On Valentine’s Day, students will receive a donut when entering the building. For St. Patrick’s Day, “Phoenix Pham” chocolate candy coins will be given to all students.

The 5th six weeks reward will be charcuterie cups prepared by Mr. McCullough and Mrs. Morrison’s Work Program students. The 6th six weeks reward will be “fritts.”

April 8, 2026 – Discipline Data Report will be reviewed.
