We appreciate your patience and understanding! We look forward to serving all of our students' free breakfast and lunch this school year.

Harrison County Schools has become aware of an announcement circulating that our District is closed next week.
This is simply not true.
We look forward to seeing our students in the classroom on Tuesday morning after the Labor Day Holiday.

Remember to purchase Smartech Insurance for student iPads. Coverage must be renewed each year and includes malfunctions/defects, accidental damage, liquid damage, loss and/or theft. The cost is $25 and ensures $0 for repair and replacements. See the flyer for details on how to purchase insurance.

↘️A Message from Healthy Grandfamilies ↙️
Ladies and Gentlemen,
After much checking around and discussion, we have decided to postpone the live Healthy Grandfamily Sessions until March.
Grandfamilies are helping their grandchildren adjust to being back in school, some are concerned about gathering due to the upswing in COVID cases and some have some other conflicts at this time.
We will continue to meet the information and training needs of the Grandfamilies by phone calls, face to face socially distanced home visits and the Grandparents as Parents Support Group.
In January, we will start recruiting and planning for our Sessions to begin in March.

The BMS Boosters are excited to announce the new 2021 Blackout Shirts! This is not only a fantastic shirt to support Bridgeport Middle School everyday, but this black Gildan 100% cotton t-shirt can be worn to school on Wednesday, September 29th for the after-school tailgate party we are planning for that afternoon and for the last home football game. Following that, the students can walk together and cheer their Braves on! We will be taking preorders only for these blackout shirts and all orders must be in 09/09/2021.

The COVID-19 Reporting Numbers dashboard on the website contained out-of-date information and does not reflect current cases in our schools.
Harrison County Schools is not currently providing a COVID-19 Reporting Numbers dashboard.
We apologize for the confusion.

Family Day 2021 is underway here at the Meadowbrook Mall! Come up and meet with principals from throughout the District and 60+ vendors!!

MASK ⬆️
Harrison County Schools are requiring all students and employees to wear a face covering for the first 30 days beginning August 24th! COVID-19 levels will be evaluated at that time to determine the further need for masking.
