Before I close down the office for the weekend, I want to give you a list of notes for Monday that I think any parent would want to know. That way, you can tuck them away and enjoy this last beautiful weekend before school starts. Or for Pre-K and K, just a little bit longer.
Our doors open at 7:00 AM.
DO NOT ENTER THE BUS LANE. Other than four known families with verification for our reserved spaces, everyone has to go around to enter the main lot.
All students arrive through the gym doors.
Breakfast is free and starts at 7:00 AM.
New this year, students can choose between a hot breakfast or Grab and Go at any time during the breakfast period.
Our tardy bell rings at 7:55 AM. That is the time students should be in class, not the time they walk into the gym.
Students can bring a snack and a water bottle (only containing water) each day.
Hot lunch is free.
Even if a child brings a cold lunch, they can also get a hot lunch if they choose. They just need to tell their teacher in the morning.
We cannot make dismissal changes after 1:30 PM.
The walker bell for Pre-K and K is at 2:30 PM. All students exit the Pre-K/K doors.
Walker dismissal for 1-5 is at 2:40 PM. Parents/guardians must meet their child as they come out.
1st grade exits through the glass doors by the gym.
2nd grade exits through the main doors.
3rd grade exits out the 1st grade stairwell.
4th grade exits through the glass doors by the gym.
5th grade exits through the main doors.
We suggest you meet your youngest child first.
Students will bring home a black take-home folder every night. Be sure to check its contents.
Finally, if you need something, don’t wonder, ask. Most of you accidentally received my personal cell number last year. 😊 You can also call the school or send an email. All of our emails are listed on the school webpage. If you are really, really struggling this weekend, message our Facebook page. I will try to check that.
Wake up on Monday and be excited! Take the pictures. Do the hugs. Elementary school is a very special time. Get all wrapped up in it. Wishing every student, family, and staff member an incredible year!
