Sports physicals are available for BMS students on the following Mondays--May 8, 15, and 22--during the school day at the Community Care Clinic. Sign up sheet is located on the Community Care Clinic door adjacent to the cafeteria. The physical will cover all sports for the entire 2023-2024 school year.

We have become aware of a prank call to the police about an active shooter at Robert C. Byrd High School. Law enforcement agencies have cleared the building and have determined it to be a non-credible threat. At no time was the health and safety of the students and staff compromised.

This week we celebrate National School Psychology Week. “Together We Shine” is this year’s theme as a way of hope after the last few challenging years through the pandemic, social injustice, economic strains, and mental/physical health.
