The Transportation Department is working on finalizing bus routes. Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers will share transportation information directly with families during their back-to-school meetings. New student families will receive a text message from Johnson letting them know when bus information is ready and asking them to call the office.
If you need anything in the meantime, please continue to call the office. Mrs. Holbert, Mr. Jones, and school secretary Mrs. Shade are back, but we are frequently in and out attending trainings as we prepare for the new school year.
We look forward to working with you and your children this year!

Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. In Harrison County Schools, students are given the chance to learn, grow, and find their place. Our schools are built on strong relationships, caring staff, and opportunities that help every child feel known, supported, and ready for what comes next.
Why Choose HCS?

Thanks to the kindness of our community and the continued support of the Harrison County Schools levy, our students will receive the basic classroom supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn.
