We are bringing together more than 30 agencies and organizations that provide resources and services to those people raising children from birth through high school for their parents. These agencies will provide support and information that will promote successful relationships, positive environments and healthy development of the children involved. The WV Young Writers Contest 2022 is open to any students in grades 1-12! Important Dates: Feb 14, 2022 - School entries submitted to county coordinators Feb 28, 2022 - County level winners submitted to blackboard May 13, 2022 - Young Writer's Day Check the Live Feed for more guidelines!

A quick reminder that there will be no school Monday, October 18th. Staff will still report for Professional Learning Day. Parent-Teacher Conferences are also Monday.

All schools are required to send home ICE PACKETS before October 1. (Kind of like old school Winter Curriculum). Keep it handy. Remember, ICE Days do NOT have to be made up, and we can use up to 5. We are trying something new this year. School-wide assignments for grades K-2 and grades 3-5. No Pre-K work.

Given continuing high case rates within our schools and Harrison County, the indoor mask requirement will continue until Oct. 29, 2021, at which time the conditions will be reevaluated.

HOW COOL!!! Parents at Johnson Elementary School "chalked the walk" last night to recognize the hard work of the JES Staff! The group also purchased Bonnie Belles cupcakes for everyone, and Ritzy Lunch has also donated lunch for every member of the staff!
