Principal’s Report
January 6, 2025
A school-wide assembly was held on December 19. $5,000 in prizes were given away for attendance and door prizes. Winter sports groups were honored. The assembly was possible this year due to no final exams and helped encourage attendance on a three-hour early dismissal day.
Attendance remains a concern. The worst day was November 21, with 95 students absent.
The day before breaks and early December weekends had high absences.
School Board Authority approved $3.5 million for a building addition at BHS. This is part of a possible three-phase process, dependent on student population.
