The WV Young Writers Contest 2022 is open to any students in grades 1-12!

John Ebert will be hosting an ACT Math Prep Class on Sunday, December 5th, in the BMS LGI, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mr. Ebert will contact students via email if the class is moved to an online format due to COVID-19 restrictions. A quick reminder that there will be no school Monday, October 18th. Staff will still report for Professional Learning Day. Parent-Teacher Conferences are also Monday.


Students in Mrs. Kimball's Forensics Class at Bridgeport High School are learning about anthropology and the long bones, and how they can use those to identify skeletal remains. Using that information you can figure out the sex and how to use data from a missing persons database to correlate with bones that may be found.

Bridgeport High School Assistant Principal Renee Mathews talks about the Purple Star Designation Award from West Virginia Department of Education. The BOE approved the resolution needed for the school to move forward in the process.
