  1. Meeting called to order by the Chair, Kimberly Miller.

  2. Attendance: Jamie Looker, Kimberly Miller, Patti Hamrick, Amy Young, Mayra Velazquez, Kenny Howell, Mary Beth Carder, Bethany Cutright, Sherry Caplan, Courtney Holder.

  3. Previous meetings read by each member. No corrections were needed. Minutes were accepted by Courtney Holder and seconded by Sherry Caplan.

  4. Principal’s Report: We are in the middle of the second six weeks. Class meetings were held with all classes. During the meetings the students were informed of class rules, behavior at games, and how to average grades. Seniors were made aware that they need to keep track of grades and whether or not they were passing the classes they need to graduate. Jostens held meetings with the seniors (cap and gown) and sophomores (class ring). Make-up picture day is October 29, 2025. Four homerooms did not have their picture taken during the first picture day and will be photographed. The play, “Addams Family”, will be available to the public on the 6th, 8th, and 9th. The play will be available to the student body on the 6th and the 10th. New pizza option is offered at lunch for the student body. Student Council is offering “Costume for a Cause”. Possible items that they are going to collect are gloves, hats, or any other warm clothing for the clothes closet.

  5. JROTC is offering SAT Prep to students. The SAT books were purchased. Justin Welling will tutor the 15 students after school.

    Food Pantry is getting boxes from the County Office, but the pantry does not have extra food for emergencies. There are 36 students that receive the boxes weekly and they are placed in their lockers before the end of the day. Student Council is having a Food Drive and they are going to ask each curriculum area for a different food item. Brainstorming was done with the committee for ideas to increase food items for the pantry. Hat day and Kroger checks were discussed. Amy’s Attic was discussed for clothing and hygiene needs. A committee member (MV) has access to hygiene items and cleaning products that are free to the school.
