Survey Methodology and Participation

The surveys, conducted in March, reached parents, staff, and students (grades 6–12). Participation rates:

Key Findings

Academic Quality and School Climate

  • 78% of parents, 89% of staff, and 67% of students rated the quality of education as good or excellent.

  • Positive ratings for school culture and climate were lower, especially among students (52%).

  • High ratings for overall school safety (87% of parents, 86% of staff, 72% of students).

  • Concerns emerged around consistent enforcement of discipline and student-to-student behavior.

  • Over 80% of students and parents agreed there is someone at school to turn to for help with academic or personal problems.

  • Student responses were slightly more favorable than parent responses—a positive sign for staff relationships.

  • Many requested more structured updates, centralized calendars, and predictable schedules.
