Board to Hold Two Meetings Monday, July 6, 2026

The Harrison County Board of Education will hold two meetings on Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Board Room at 445 West Main Street in Clarksburg. The Organizational Meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Regular Meeting at 6:00 p.m.

Organizational Meeting

The Organizational Meeting agenda includes the selection of a President of the Board of Education and a Vice President of the Board of Education.

The Board will also consider appointing a Board member to the United Technical Center Board.

Employee Benefits and Coverage

During the Regular Meeting, the Board will consider COBRA Rates for 2027.

The Board will also consider the 2026-2027 employee dental vision plan administration and claims, as well as 2026-2027 workers compensation insurance coverage.

Excess Levy Allocations

The Board will consider the issuance of a purchase order to Clarksburg Harrison Library excess levy allocations for FY2027.

School Operations and Supplies

The Regular Meeting consent items include purchase orders tied to school operations, including FY2027 fuel, elevator inspection and maintenance services, HVAC filter services, technology commodities, and other school commodities and supplies.

Food Service

The Board will consider purchase orders for milk and dairy products, food/supply products, and commodity food delivery for FY2026-2027.

Student Programs, Curriculum, and Services

The Regular Meeting agenda includes the continuation of programs with WV Game Changer, Inc.

The Board will also consider FY2027 curriculum software and services, United Technical Center, and National Youth Advocate Program Inc.

School Safety

The Board will consider purchase orders to the Harrison County Sheriff and the City of Bridgeport for PRO officers for FY2026-2027.

Student and Family Support Services

The Board will consider the Healthy Grandfamilies Contract for services between Pam Hotsinpiller and Harrison County Schools, effective July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

The Board will also consider the MOU for At-Risk Services with Hamner Psychological Services for the 2026-2027 school year.
