Welcome back! We are so excited to see our students! Students should arrive between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m.
Here are just a few reminders for families who transport their children:
MORNING DROP-OFF
Student drop-off and parent parking are in the lower lot closest to Buckhannon Pike.
The parking lot is a one-way exit.
Parents who park are responsible for walking their child to the sidewalk.
Drivers shall refrain from handheld cell phone use while operating vehicles.
Drivers must remain in the line until exiting.
Under NO circumstances should a child be dropped off outside of the drop-off lane.
Help save time for everyone!
Please prepare for drop off before approaching the drop-off zone. (Students should gather their belongings, etc…)
Unexpected Delay:
We recognize that you may need more time with your child. No problem! As a courtesy to others, we ask drivers to pull into a parking space or move forward
to the library curb.
Drivers should not exit the car to help children with backpacks, etc. Staff are available to help, but if the driver’s assistance is needed, please pull into a parent parking space.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, the first 3 cars MUST unload!
We are teaching students to be considerate of others, so please help us by setting this expectation for your child.
END OF DAY PICK-UP
NF Intermediate parents
will continue to park in the lot closest to Buckhannon Pike.
(Backing in to your spot is highly recommended!) Please wait at the bottom of the steps for your child.
Remember, the parent lot has a one-way exit.
Many NF Primary parents choose to park at Food Lion, but regardless , the adults should enter from the Food Lion end of the sidewalk.
SIGNING OUT: In our effort to ensure a safe dismissal for all students, parents needing to sign students out early must do so prior to 2:15. Parents will not be admitted to the building after 2:15.
