The Harrison County Board of Education will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room at 445 West Main Street in Clarksburg.
Several items on the agenda focus on student services, staffing, and partnerships for the 2026-27 school year.
Student Support Services
Two agreements on the agenda would continue at-risk services for students through Family Matters Psychological Services and Ellie Mental Health. The Board will also consider an agreement with UHC for medical director services during the 2026-27 school year.
Glenville State MOU
The Board will consider an agreement with Glenville State University that outlines responsibilities related to field placements, internships/student teaching, and residency for the 2026-27 academic year.
Personnel
Personnel will also be part of Tuesday’s meeting. The agenda includes recommendations involving professional, service, and extracurricular personnel, along with a separate state superintendent-approved personnel item involving 200+ day employment.
