Parade Band

The WIMS band director and music teacher, Jennifer Sager will be performing in the 133rd annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. The Rose Parade is an iconic New Year's Eve tradition. The Rose Parade travels 51/2 miles down Colorado Blvd. and features four types of entries: floral-decorated floats entered by a participating corporation, non-profit organizations or municipality, equestrian units, bands, and Tournament entries. Rose Parade participants have long histories with the Tournament of Roses and keep the tradition alive.

The group that Ms. Sager is marching and playing with is The Band Director's Band through Saluting America's Band Director's. She is one of three band directors representing West Virginia!  The group will be marching behind the float pictured.
