Wheeling, WV (Monday, November 14th, 2022) – South Harrison FFA Chapter members were named champions of the West Virginia Farm Bureau’s Quiz Bowl Competition held in conjunction with the Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting at Oglebay Resort and Conference Center. Teams of four competed in three rounds, and the final two teams competed in front of the Farm Bureau membership.
Topics included: general agriculture; farm safety; farm-to-fork; state agriculture laws; US Constitution; WV Constitution; the legislative process; Civics and others. South Harrison took two of the three rounds of competition and won the series by more than one hundred points, beating the team from Preston County FFA. Team members were Olivia Marshall, Spencer Nolan, Michael Radcliff, and Hope Woods.
