The Superintendent and the Board recognized the Bridgeport High School Cheerleaders for winning the AAA State Cheerleading Competition. The team is under the direction of Head Coach Natalie Hathaway and Assistant Coach Janet Hathaway.

The Board and Superintendent recognized Connor Lane, a student of Lincoln High School, for being accepted to this summer's Air Force JROTC Flight Academy. This is an 8-week curriculum of classroom and "stick time" at a university yet to be named. Upon graduation, Connor will have a Private Pilot's License Certificate plus 3 hours of college credit. This is an extremely competitive program for this nation-wide selection (our area picked 5 out of 250). Congratulations to Connor for his achievement!
In celebration of Groundhog Day, Wilsonburg Elementary students will be making their own predictions. Each student will vote on whether French Creek Freddie will see his shadow not.
